Over the years, Screeneze has been asked this question thousands of times. While they have always wanted to add a screen door to they're product line, there were many factors to consider. Screeneze could have made a conventional door or another retractable door, but they wanted something new and different. The door had to complement the Screeneze system's approach to simplicity and clear openings void of obstructions. They also wanted to eliminate normal door issues such as dead floor space, landing for out-swing doors, closer's, and wind damage. It had to be low maintenance and easy to ship. After years of testing and planning, Screeneze came up with a Zero Clearance Sliding Screen Door.
