18V/36V (5.0Ah/2.5Ah) MultiVolt™ Lithium Ion Water & Impact Resistant Battery | Metabo HPT

The MultiVolt Lithium Ion Water & Impact Resistant Battery (Model BSL36A18X/ part #380083M) is the next generation of high power Metabo HPT MultiVolt batteries to fuel our expanding line of 18V & 36V tools. For better defense against moisture related short circuiting, a waterproof barrier exists for the internal cell terminals and twin exit ports for water that gets inside the battery pack. To lessen damage from drops and rough use on the job site, an impact resistant protective layer provides 15% more shock absorption and a longer battery life than previous models. It has a 5.0Ah capacity when used with 18V tools and 2.5Ah capacity when used with 36V tools and features a battery fuel gauge for user convenience. The innovative design of this MultiVolt battery helps prevent overheating when pushed to the limit, and works at temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C).
